Zahir House

Zahir house is located behind Banana House towards the end of Shella village with fantastic views of the sand dunes and the sea from the 2nd and 3rd floors. The house is designed around a central courtyard with a fountain, with the breakfast and dining areas over-looking the courtyard. Speedboat transfers from Lamu airport (on arrival and departure), breakfast and laundry are usually included in the rates (Please confirm at the time of booking).  
  
The house sleeps 6 people. 

The house is spaciously designed with 2 double bedrooms on the 1st floor and an additional large master bedroom on the 2nd floor, all ensuite, with an additional 2 beds on the 1st and 2nd floor in the lounge areas outside.  Each floor has a spacious baraza lounging area, which incorporates a mixture of Arabic and Swahili interior design and ensures tranquility for all who visit the house. The house also has a rooftop terrace. The house does not have access to the internet but this is available at Peponi Hotel for a fee. Safaricom wireless connection is good for those having their own modem and account. 
  
The House has a full time cook and house staff.
